Enjoy this light and refreshing summer dessert after a heavy meal. It’s sweet, tangy and citrusy.
1 tbsp Rose water
Pistachio roughly chopped
1-2 tsp castor sugar
Slice the top and the bottom off the oranges. Using a knife, slice down between the pith and the flesh all through to remove the skin and the pith. Now lay the orange on one side and cut into rounds reserving the juice. Repeat with the remaining orange.
Place these slices on a serving dish. Mix the reserved juice with rose water and castor sugar. Drizzle over the oranges and cover with a cling wrap. Chill for an hour or more. Sprinkle the chopped pistachio, castor sugar and rose petals over the oranges before serving.
